A NURSE in Llandough Hospital is appealing for snacks to help staff as they care for coronavirus patients on two wards.

And her friend, Rowena Hughes, of the Colcot, in Barry, is acting as a drop-off-zone to assist with the effort.

In her appeal, the nurse said: “Thank you all for your generosity at this difficult time

“We have set up a rest room for our medical team who are looking after the two wards of coronavirus patients.

“This enables them to have a break from the ward, have a coffee and a snack whilst staying away from the rest of the hospital.

“If anyone would like to donate any tea, coffee, snacks etc, it would be very gratefully received.”

To arrange the drop-off, message Rowena Hughes on Facebook.
