FREE school meals in Caerphilly now include bread and milk.

Caerphilly County Borough Council's catering team produce five frozen meals a week for thousands of children who are registered for their free school meals service, and has now joined forces with Woosnam Dairies to provide bread and milk alongside them.

They join Castell Howell and The Authentic Curry Company as partners for delivering the service during the coronavirus lockdown.

Each child registered for the free school meals receives five healthy and balanced meals each week - including through the Easter break.

Some of the meals include chicken korma with rice, pasta bolognese, chilli con carne and macaroni cheese. They cater to dietary requirements and the menu will be changing after Easter to provide a different selection of meals.
