UPDATE: Police have confirmed Mr John has been found "safe and well".
GWENT Police have issued a plea for support to find a 78-year-old man from Blaenavon after he disappeared today (Wednesday, May 20) at around 12.10pm.
Gareth John was last seen near Keeper's Pond this afternoon.
Mr John is described as a white man, 5’8 inches tall, with dark grey hair and is clean shaven.
He was last seen wearing cut-off khaki trousers and a knitted navy zip-up jacket with a blue polo underneath.
He is known to have links with the Govilon area.
