A DRUG driver has been banned from the roads after driving a BMW without due care and attention in Wimborne.
Paul Arash Sedghi, of Saddle Close, Wimborne, admitted a charge of driving a BMW 330 without due care and attention and having more than 200 micrograms of cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine per litre of his blood in Colehill Lane on October 23, 2019. The specified limit is 50 micrograms per litre of blood.
Appearing before magistrates in Poole on July 8, the 35-year-old defendant was fined £500 and ordered to pay £250 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
His driving record was endorsed, along with a 12-month disqualification from holding or obtaining a driving licence.
