Police are concerned for missing Melmerby man's welfare
POLICE have appealed for information concerning the whereabouts of a missing man from Melmerby.
James Ford was last seen leaving his home address at around 11am on Sunday (Aug 2).
Officers are concerned for the 36-year-old's welfare and are urging for anyone who sees him to call 999. If you have any other information which may assist please call 101.
James is described as 5ft 8ins tall, white and of medium build. He has short dark hair and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, green gilet, dark pants and black trainers - possibly Converse. He was also carrying a black rucksack.
Police said James has family in Australia and has recently moved to the area from London. He also has friends in the Bristol area.
