A ROUND-UP of cases heard at Newport Magistrates’ Court and Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court.

SIMON JOHN REYNOLDS, 32, of Oakdale Path, St Dials, Cwmbran, was jailed for 34 weeks after he pleaded guilty to six counts of stealing more than £1,500 worth of goods from Boots, Spar, Premier Stores and River Island.

He was ordered to pay £1,534.02 in compensation following his release from prison.

JOHN ROGERS, 46, of Manor Road, Abersychan, Pontypool, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drink driving.

He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

OMAR DJEEBET, 38, of Woolpitch, Greenmeadow, Cwmbran, was banned from driving for six months for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Llanfrechfa Way.

He was disqualified for repeat offending and ordered to pay £174 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

SAM GILLARD, 24, of Commercial Road, Abercarn, Caerphilly, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

JUST 4 LTD, Monmouth Road, Gwehelog, Monmouthshire, were ordered to pay £1,210 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

JEAN PATRICIA FRASER, 67, of Cinderhill Street, Monmouth, was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, after she admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order in High Street, Abergavenny.

She was ordered to pay £213 in costs and a surcharge.

JOSHUA DAVID BAKER, aged 24, of Cobb Crescent, Caldicot, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance.

He was ordered to pay £404 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

ROSANNA BROWN, 31, of King Alfreds Road, Sedbury, Chepstow, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

LIBBY JAY HOLVEY, 24, of Lancaster Street, Six Bells, Abertillery, was ordered to pay £224 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to wear a seat belt when driving.
