POLICE were forced to close the A40 in Ross-on-Wye 'for a brief time' while an insecure load was made safe.
The driver was reported for insecure load offences after the incident yesterday (Tuesday).
Herefordshire police said that operations patrol unit officers are trained to identify lorry load offences, with the aim of education and enforcement to make the roads safer.
