M48 Severn Bridge closed due to strong winds
THE Severn Bridge has been closed in both directions due to strong winds over the estuary.
A diversion is in place.
Motorists travelling between England and Wales will have to do so via the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge.
The diversion includes coming off and back on at Magor Services on the M4.
A yellow weather warning for strong winds will be in place until tomorrow.
This means the Severn Bridge may be closed for some time.
