GWENT Police have issued an appeal for a member of the public who recorded an assault in Newport to come forward.
The assault took place on Upper Dock Street in the city on Saturday, July 31. The victim was a woman who had her phone and cash stolen.

Gwent Police have stated that the incident occurred "past the taxi rank and near the kebab shop between 7am and 10am" on July 31.
They have asked that the person who recorded the incident, or others with information, "please contact us via Facebook or 101 - quoting 2100268819".
