A GUNMAN has pleaded guilty to committing an offence against a police officer.
Ashley Jones admitted possessing a firearm with intent to cause PC Lesley Morgan fear of violence in Abergavenny on February 11.
The defendant also pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm without a certificate on the same date.

Jones, 32, of Brecon Road, Abergavenny, is due to be sentenced on October 29.
He was granted unconditional bail following the hearing at Cardiff Crown Court.
Jones was represented by Jeffrey Jones and the prosecution by Matthew Cobbe.
