A CHRISTMAS classic is embarking on a huge UK tour – including a stop in Newport.

From the producers of the internationally acclaimed Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners comes a new show, Fairytale of New York, the ultimate feel-good Irish inspired Christmas show in partnership with Tourism Ireland.

Featuring an international cast of singers, musicians and dancers Fairytale of New York will bring to life all your favourite Christmas songs including 

  • Driving home for Christmas
  • White Christmas
  • Oh Holy Night
  • Winter’s Tale
  • Silent Night 
  • The Fairytale of New York

The festive show will also celebrate the best of Irish music with sing-along songs as Galway Girl, The Irish Rover, Dirty Old Town, and Wagon Wheel.

There are 33 performances lined-up all over the UK, with the festive fun coming to Newport’s Riverfront Theatre for one night only: November 21.

Creator and co-producer of the show, Ged Graham, said: “This show is a real celebration of Christmas and all things Irish.
