    The Welsh government is set to issue an update on its vaccine plans - including the rollout of booster jabs.
  • It is expected that by the end of the year, everyone eligible for a booster jab will be offered one by the end of the year.
  • What's more, by the beginning of November, every 12 to 15-year-old in Wales is set to have been offered their first covid vaccine.
  • Meanwhile, booster vaccines have been offered to care home and front line healthcare workers.
  • Later today, health minister Eluned Morgan is hosting a briefing, where covid vaccines, and the flu jab, are set to be put under the microscope.
  • Ms Morgan is set to be joined by Dr Gill Richardson, Wales’ deputy chief medical officer for vaccines.
