A MAN is to stand trial after he pleaded not guilty to attacking a police officer.
Corey Greenslade, 22, of Newlyn Road, Pantside, Newbridge, denied assaulting an emergency worker.

Newport Crown Court heard the alleged incident against a police constable took place in Newbridge on July 14.
Judge Jeremy Jenkins set a trial date of March 9, 2022.

Greenslade was granted unconditional bail.
The defendant was represented by Richard Ace and the prosecution by Julia Cox.
