A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Newport Magistrates’ Court and Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court.
JACK DELVE, 21, of Dickens Drive, Newport, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood on the M4 eastbound at Junction 25 on April 9.
He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
SHANIA LLOYD, 22, of Welsh Street, Chepstow, was ordered to pay £199 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she pleaded guilty to possession of ketamine in Caldicot on May 18.
KEVIN WILLIAMS, 38, of Maesglas Avenue, Newport, was banned from driving for 17 months after he admitted failing to provide a specimen on August 28.
He was made the subject of an electronically monitored curfew for three months and ordered to pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.

ALAN BOW, 51, of Attlee Road, Nantyglo, was ordered to pay £255.66 in a fine, compensation, costs and a surcharge after he admitted stealing goods worth £50 from B&M in Ebbw Vale on July 5.
LEWIS CARL PROSSER, 29, of Hanbury Road, Pontypool, was ordered to pay £305.66 in fines, compensation, costs and a surcharge after he admitted stealing meat worth £30 from Tesco in Abergavenny and goods worth £50 from B&M in Ebbw Vale on July 5.

BENJAMIN ROBERT EDWARDS, 29, of Beacon View, Nantyglo, was ordered to pay £465.66 in fines, compensation, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to stealing meat worth £30 from Tesco in Abergavenny and goods worth £50 from B&M in Ebbw Vale and driving without insurance on July 5.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
STACIE HOWELLS, 34, of Marion Place, Pill, Newport, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Her driving record was endorsed with six points.
PETER MARSH, 59, of Cwmavon Road, Blaenavon, was ordered to pay £525 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without due care and attention on Abergavenny Road, Govilon, on March 8.
His driving record was endorsed with four points.
DANIEL ELEY, 30, of Pontnewydd Walk, Cwmbran, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on Wainfelin Road, Pontypool, on February 13.
He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
