Man suffers 'life-threatening injuries' in early morning crash in Pontllanfraith (Image: Newsquest)
A MAN is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Pontllanfraith.
The incident occurred early yesterday morning - with Gwent Police receiving the emergency call at 3.10am.
One car was involved, a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The road was closed for some time following the crash.

The man driving the car was taken to University Hospital Wales in Cardiff with head injuries.
Gwent Police said the man's injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
