TWO carers have been found guilty of ill-treatment or wilful neglect of residents at a care home.
Douglas Stephens, aged 40, of Tumble, was found guilty of four charges of ill treatment or neglect of a person who lacks mental capacity.
Anthony John Thomas, aged 64, from Sketty in Swansea, was found guilty of two counts of the same charge.
Both denied the charges but were found guilty at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday, October 21.
The men worked for a private care company called TracsCare, which has now been re-branded as Accomplish, at Swansea residential homes.
The prosecution will have a week to decide whether to ask for a retrial.
The jury continued their deliberations of a third man, Tony Rowlands, 51, of Neath, into Friday morning, October 22, where they failed to reach a verdict.
Rowlands worked at a different care home operated by the same company and he denies the single charge he has been on trial for.
