THE headliners for Newport’s 80s throwback festival next summer have been announced.
Let’s Rock Wales, held annually at Tredegar Park, was cancelled this year due to logistical issues with the delays of lifting the Covid restrictions in Wales.
But it will return on June 4, 2022, with Adam Ant, OMD and ABC headlining the one-day festival.

Also featuring in Newport will be Howard Jones, Kim Wilde, Jaki Graham, Chesney Hawkes, Betty Boo, T’Pau, and Hue & Cry, with more acts yet to be announced.
Let’s Rock organisers Nick Billinghurst and Matt Smith said: “We’ve been humbled by the loyalty and passion of the Let’s Rock family who have stuck with us through what has been an incredibly challenging couple of years.
“We’re so excited to be back with a full summer of shows in 2022 with what we believe is our best ever line-up. We genuinely can’t wait to see you all there.”
Ahead of returning to headline to 2022 event, OMD frontman Andy McCluskey described Let’s Rock as “The best music party with our best music friends.”
And ABC singer Martin Fry said: "Really looking forward to performing at the Let’s Rock festivals.
“Last time round was incredible from the audience through to every act involved. See you there.”
