DO YOU remember the Garden Festival clock which used to sit in John Frost Square?
Known as ‘In the Nick of Time’ this clock was a huge attraction. It was mechanical and opened up to reveal all sorts of secret things.
It was removed from John Frost Square and put into storage to make way for the redevelopment of the area, and eventually found a new home on a roundabout near Llanwern, although it no longer opens and closes.
We’ve had a look through our archives to bring some pictures which bring back happy memories of sitting in John Frost Square and enjoying the action of the clock.
