A CARAVAN was on fire in Newport last night.
It happened in Barnardtown around 6.30pm and crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service in Maindee attended and extinguished the fire.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At approximately 6.32pm on Tuesday, November 16, we received reports of a caravan fire in Barnardstown, Newport.
“Crews from Maindee attended the scene and a stop message was received at approximately 6.52pm.”
