Risca Eyesore: Despite the fact the scaffolding was erected at the Palace Cinema area in Risca some time ago, no action has taken place to commence work on the proposed office, shop and library which was supposed to replace the eyesore in the centre of the town.

In fact, the amount of debris which has been blown onto the site by winds over the months/years would most probably fill many plastic bags for re-cycling by the local authority.

Visitors to the town look at the building and its surrounds and raise eyebrows, asking when is something going to be done to tidy up the site and start work on the proposed new building?' Perhaps someone in the know can solve the query.
