A TIPPER lorry broke down on the M4 today, causing long delays around Tredegar Park.
The 18-tonne truck broke down at Junction 28 at around 10am and was moved to the hard shoulder.
Traffic officers estimated recovery time would be at least an hour.
Traffic quickly built up on the M4 and the Tredegar Park roundabout as a result, causing tailbacks.
