A CAR and a tanker were in collision on the M4 today.
The collision happened at around 9.50am and lane one was blocked by the tanker between Junction 29 and 30 of the westbound M4.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the road was cleared within two hours.
Tailbacks caused by the accident on that stretch of the M4 were exacerbated by a broken down tipper truck near Junction 28, some 15 minutes later.
