A NEWPORT DJ is having his losing his famous hair to raise money for charity.
Jon Hodson, known affectionately as 'Jon the Quiff', runs a night called drop your pants at the Bassment in Stow Hill.
After 21 years of sporting his haircut, Mr Hodson is having it shaved in aid of St Anne's hospice in memory of a relative of a fellow DJ, Malcolm Haley, whose mother was cared for by the hospice before she died.
The shaving is part of a night of fundraising at the Bassment tonight starting from 10pm, there will also be a charity auction.
Entry is £5 and it is hoped the night will raise more than £2000.
