Chepstow Library became an exotic jungle in the imaginations of the children attending this half-term's story and craft-time.
Librarians Sue and Sallyanne read No More Kissing by Emma Chichester Clark, The Lion poem from Roald Dahl's Dirty Beasts, The Elephants' Ears by Catherine Chambers and Rumble in the Jungle by Giles Andreeae.
After the stories ended the children used card, feathers, gems, stickers and crayons to make a bird of paradise to take home to remind them of the morning.
