PUPILS at the three high schools of Monmouth are joining forces in looking for a project to undertake to raise funds for others who are less fortunate than themselves.
At a recent meeting of the Joint Schools' Council, the young people of Monmouth Comprehensive School, Monmouth School and the Haberdashers' School for Girls all decided they would like to do something for the local community.
A sponsored Year 7 fun run is taking place on Wednesday, February 27. But as yet, no decision has been made as to where the cash will go. Local charities, community projects and individuals are thus invited to apply to the Joint Schools' Council to request support.
Requests for support - however small or large - should be made to Wendy Baker, the marketing and media manager at Monmouth Comprehensive School.
