OUR city is changing fast - something you can see reflected in the faces of these youngsters from Newport's St Michael's RC primary school.
By the time Jack Roche, nine, and Nicole Read, ten, are in secondary school, the biggest transformation in their city centre's history will be complete.
Around £780 million worth of new developments will change the face of Newport for generations to come.
Today, we take a pictorial look at some of the landmark projects.
They include Friars Walk, City Spires and the Kingsway, developments which are set to give Newport three vibrant and modern retail centres and be a catalyst in plans to transform the area.
