FIRE CREWS from all over South Wales were called to deal with an electrical blaze at Corus Steelworks in Llanwern early this morning.
At 6:39 am the alarm was raised after a fire broke out in a control room of a three-story electrical substation.
Crews from Maindee, Duffryn, Malpas, Cwmbran, Cardiff and Pontypridd were called to the scene.
The fire, thought to be caused by an electrical fault, was out by 8:06am and it is understood no-one was injured.
