A FIRE broke out in a derelict pub in Abersychan this afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the Old Castle Inn on Abersychan High Street at 4.50pm.
Gwent Police closed the road from around 5pm to 5.20pm while fire fighters got the blaze under control.
It is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
