Stylists at one of Gwent's more unusual polling booths
HAIRDRESSER Hannah Webb is off work today, but she still had to be at her salon at 6am.
Because Hannah's Style Studio in Alma Street, Abertillery, is transformed into one of 79 polling stations across Blaenau Gwent for the local authority election.
The early start ensured all was ready for voters at 7am, and after polls close at 10pm, the salon must be readied to receive customers again tomorrow morning.
Other unusual polling stations around Gwent include the Hunter's Moon pub at Llangattock Lingoed, Monmouthshire.
