A MEMORIAL mass for George Bullock, who died in April, will be held this Sunday.
The service will take place at St Michael's Church, St Michael's Street, Pill, at 3pm.
George's daughter Kim Small said: "Family and friends who couldn't make it to his funeral in Ilfracombe will have the opportunity to pay their last respects."
Mourners may attend the half-hour long service in casual dress.
Mr Bullock's family left Newport following the death of his step-son Lemy, who was murdered in 2005.
They resettled in Ilfracombe on the north Devon coast, but sadly his nine-month-old grandson Nico also died of cancer in 2006.
He died in April aged 70, after a long battle with oesophagal and stomach cancer.
