AN EMERGENCY road closure has been put in place near Llangoven, Monmouthshire, while urgent repairs are carried out.
Working on behalf of Welsh Water, Morrison Water Services has closed a section of road near Hill Farm, between Pen y Llan Farm and Lower Ty Hir and near the end of Bethel Lane.
The work involves urgent repairs on a mains.
It is expected the closure will be in effect until and including Thursday, November 16.
Northbound traffic will be diverted towards Llangovan, past Pwll Morgan, London House, Great Llan-Thomas and Ridge Barn, and motorists travelling southbound.
Signed diversions are in place on the road.
Llangovan is located five miles south west of Monmouth.
