ENDING the National League nightmare was special, getting into League One will be another monumental day in Wrexham’s history.
I’m not getting ahead of myself here and know that Wrexham need to beat Forest Green Rovers at The Racecourse tomorrow and hope results elsewhere are favourable to secure a second successive promotion.
But just being in this position following years of doom and gloom is special.
The priority is second-placed Wrexham taking care of their own business against Forest Green, regardless of whatever happens in the other matches, and a win would mean Phil Parkinson’s side edge even closer to a top-three finish - and they still have another two fixtures to play!
Wrexham’s destiny is in their own hands and you can’t ask for anything more than that.
The players have stepped up to the plate when it matters most in recent games and the finishing line is in sight.
One final push and Wrexham will get another promotion party - whenever it will be.
OUR PREDICTIONS:
WREXHAM 3 FOREST GREEN ROVERS 1 NICK HARRISON
WREXHAM 3 FOREST GREEN ROVERS 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS
WREXHAM 3 FOREST GREEN ROVERS 0 SHAUN DAVIES
SCORES SO FAR... RICHARD WILLIAMS 46; NICK HARRISON 41; SHAUN DAVIES 39
