Ellie Morgan, 20, of Commercial Street, Newport must pay £131.50 in a fine, costs and compensation after she pleaded guilty to stealing a £6.50 bottle of wine from Tesco on December 7, 2024.

Houssam El-Kassem, 41, of St Stephens Road, Newport was jailed for two weeks after he pleaded guilty to stealing washing products worth £110 from Tesco on September 15, 2024.

Declan Aldred, 27, of Roundhouse Close, Nantyglo was jailed for 16 weeks but that sentence was suspended for two years after he admitted driving while disqualified on Greenland Road, Brynmawr on December 19, 2024.

He was banned from driving for 60 months and ordered to pay a £154 surcharge and £85 costs.

David Parry, 42, of no fixed abode, Penyrheol, Caerphilly was conditionally discharged for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to assault by beating on Christmas Day last year.

He was made the subject of a restraining order not to contact his victim over the next 12 months and he must pay £85 costs.

Lee Cunningham, 46, of Pembroke Grove, Newport was banned from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to drug driving with cocaine in his blood on St Julians Road on June 18, 2024.

He was fined £102 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £41 surcharge.

Deborah Lewis, 61, of Penybont, Govilon, Monmouthshire was banned from driving for 12 months after she admitted drug driving with a cannabis derivative in her blood on Merthyr Road, Abergavenny on June 10, 2024.

She was fined £207 and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £83 surcharge.

Nigel Williams, 47, of Mountain View, Pwllypant, Caerphilly must pay £205 in a fine and costs after pleading guilty to stealing cycling equipment worth £90.30 from Halfords on October 11.

Jacob Loisz, 31, of McDonnell Road, Bargoed, Caerphilly was banned from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood on March 18.

He must pay £253 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

Mark Walsh, 38, of Pritchard Terrace, Phillipstown, Caerphilly was banned from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to drug driving with a cocaine derivative in his blood on Alder Grove, Merthyr Tydfil on March 29.

He was fined £120.
