What is The 1% Club?

The 1% Club is a now-hit game show hosted by comedian Lee Mack, which first aired in 2022.

The show is designed as an IQ test of sorts where it puts the 'logic and common sense' of its hopefuls to the test.

It begins with 100 contestants all hoping to score up to a £100,000 jackpot.

The participants then get whittled down as the difficulty of the questions gets much harder.

There are 14 questions in total before the final.

All contestants who answer the 14th question (the 5% question) correctly or pass it, or who advance furthest in the game if all 100 are eliminated, become finalists.

They may each choose to take an equal share of £10,000 and leave the game or attempt the 1% question and win the jackpot on the evening.

How can I apply for The 1% Club?

You can apply to take part in the fifth series by visiting the ITV website.

A spokesman for ITV said: “Lee Mack is hosting a brand new series of The 1% Club.

“Would you like to be a contestant and find out if you are a 90% player or can go all the way to the 1% question and win up to £100,000?

“We are looking for people of all abilities to be part of our 100 players.”

The deadline for applications is September 26, 2025 (subject to the producer’s discretion).
