A chocolate fan unwrapped a Wispa bar only to find it was just a shell rather than the typical treat.
A video shared on TikTok by user @irlkawl shows three pictures of what they believed to be a normal Cadbury’s Wispa.
However, when they opened it, they found just a hollow shell.
It was captioned “@CadburyUK do I have to pay extra for the inside of my Wispa, let me know.”

TikTok users in hysterics as dodgy Wispa bar goes viral
TikTok users were left laughing after seeing the half-made chocolate bar.
The video shared last week has received more than 1.9 million views, with around 300k likes.
Many took to the comments to make fun of the situation.
One joked: “Paid for a Wispa. Got a deep breath.”
Another said: “Could call it a careless Wispa.”
“That’s a shush,” a third jested.

Other TikTok users discussed getting compensation for the dodgy Wispa bar, with others reflecting on how they would have reacted.
One person said: “I’d have a breakdown.”
To which @irlkawl replied: “I was on the verge”.
Another said: “This would push me to the edge on a bad day.”
A third commented: "How does that even happen?"

One user, who claims similar happened to them, said: “File a complaint on their website, I did that and they have me £4 in vouchers for any Cadbury product.”
A second TikTok by the user published on Monday, March 10, appears to show a conversation between themselves and Cadbury, in which the chocolate giant apologised for the situation, with them receiving a £3 reimbursement.
They joked: “Cheers Cadbury gonna buy three more Wispas with this, might even treat myself to a Wispa Gold.”
Cadbury investigating strange Wispa
A spokesperson from Mondelēz International, the owners of Cadbury, told Newsquest: “The quality of our products is of paramount importance to us.
“We are investigating this matter thoroughly and our customer care team has been in touch with the individual concerned to assist them.”
It is not the first time a dodgy chocolate bar has gone viral.
Harry Seager, 34, bought a Mars from a services in Thame last November, only to find it completely smooth - without the signature ripple.
The photo has now received thousands of reactions and comments from users dubbing it "unsettling" and "hideous".
Mars later confirmed it was a one-off mistake - and the classic design was here to stay.

A Mars Wrigley UK spokesperson said: “Our chocolate scientists have been perfecting the Mars Bar and its iconic swirl on top for over 90 years.
"With over 2.5 million Mars Bars produced daily at our Slough factory it seems this has slipped through without its signature flourish.
“While we can't reveal all the secrets behind our product line, we can promise fans that these ‘smooth’ Mars Bars are a rare find and the classic swirl isn’t going away.”
