Two teenagers were ‘shaken up’ following reports that an electric bike was robbed off them by two men.

On Monday, April 14, Gwent Police were notified that an electric bike was stolen in Taliesin Forgeside, Cwmbran.

The two 14-year-olds were approached and one of the men pushed one of the teenagers off the bike before riding away.

Detective Inspector Carl Evans said: "Luckily the young boys weren't injured during this robbery, but they were obviously shaken up by what happened.

"We are currently reviewing CCTV, carrying out house to house enquiries and following up a number of lines of enquiry to trace these offenders.

“If anyone has any information, please call us on 101, quoting 2500118222, or you can direct message on social media.

“You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

The man who pushed the boy is described as being of a large build, with ginger hair and a moustache whereas the other man is described as being of a slim build, wearing all black.

Following the incident, the father of the boy who was robbed, revealed they got the bike back.
