Eighty-one more homes are set to be built in a housing development in Caerphilly
Redrow South Wales has launched the third and final phase at De Clare Gardens, on Fford Y Dderwen in Hendredenny, Caerphilly.
The new properties will all be from the housebuilder’s Eco Electric collection.
The first plots have been released for reservation and residents are expected to move in by spring 2026.
These homes will feature low-carbon technology, including air-source heat pumps and ground floor underfloor heating.
The homes will be a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom houses from Redrow’s Inspired Collection.
They will have traditional exteriors inspired by 1930s architecture combined with modern interiors.
The housebuilder predicts that these eco-friendly features will save residents more than £970 a year on energy bills compared to second-hand homes.
Sian Smith, sales director for Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, said: "We’re dedicated to building responsibly and helping homeowners enjoy the benefits of eco-friendly living, so are proud to be bringing 81 new Eco Electric homes to our popular De Clare Gardens development.
"This already thriving community is perfect for those looking to get on the property ladder, families and right-sizers alike.
"Our purpose is to create a better way to live, and I’d encourage anyone looking for a more sustainable future with lower energy bills to speak to our sales team and find out more about reserving one of our new plots."
Situated on the borders of the open countryside, De Clare Gardens provides easy access to outdoor living and scenic walks.
The development currently has four-bedroom properties available from £300,000.
It is the only south Wales development to offer homes from the Inspired Collection.
