A MAN has pleaded guilty to threatening people with a hammer at a city pub.
David Miller, 46, admitted threatening members of the public with an offensive weapon at the Three Horseshoes on Pillmawr Road in Newport.
The offence took place over the summer on Sunday, July 6, the city’s magistrates’ court was told.
Miller, of Ribble Walk, Bettws, Newport also admitted assault by beating and public disorder on the same date.
His case was committed to the crown court where he is due to be sentenced on Thursday, December 4.
The defendant was granted bail by District Judge Sophie Toms on condition that he does not enter the Three Horseshoes.
