Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley has issued a health update after being “replaced” by Paul Brand earlier this week.
Richard, who is one of the usual presenters alongside Susanna Reid on the ITV programme had been absent on Monday (November 17) and Tuesday (November 18) due to being unwell.
Paul had taken over his “hot seat” instead, which he described as “absolute life goals” in a post on Instagram.
However, this morning (November 19), Richard returned to the ITV studio to present GMB live once again.

During the latest episode between news bulletins, he told viewers he had caught covid and that he was “operating at 80%” today.
Speaking to Susanna, the former I’m a Celebrity campmate explained: “I'm clear of it. I had Covid, as you know.
"The active stage has gone now and I'm okay again but it does leave you washed out. I feel like I'm operating at 80% this morning so I hope it doesn't show."
Meanwhile, Paul took to social media to thank GMB fans for “the kind comments and the warm welcome” as he stood in for Richard over the last two days.
The UK editor at ITV News shared a few pictures of himself and Susanna sitting alongside each on the show.
He told his Instagram followers: “Absolute life goals to present alongside @susannareid100 this week. Thank you for all the kind comments and the warm welcome, especially at that time in the morning! I’ll see you again soon @GMB #naptime.”
Susanna replied: “A joy presenting alongside you.”
Lorraine Kelly commented: “Love this dynamic duo.”
