Driver remains in hospital after crash on B4471 last night (Image: Web)
A Gwent road has reopened following a crash that closed part of the B4471 between Aberbeeg and Llanhilleth on Tuesday evening.
Gwent Police said they received a call at around 7.10pm reporting a single-vehicle collision, in which a transit van had left the road.
In a statement issued today, police confirmed the driver was taken to hospital, where he remains receiving treatment for his injuries.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident and diversions were put in place, causing disruption in the area. It has since fully reopened.
No further details have been released at this stage.
