SNOW has swallowed up Gwent and caused significant disruption after weather warnings by Met Office.
From before 7am this morning (Monday, December 5), the county was a blanket of snow, and the adverse conditions are expected to carry on until Tuesday morning (December 6) as temperatures drop below freezing.
Gritters were spotted, ensuring roads remained safe for drivers, especially in the outer parts of Gwent such as Cwmtillery and Abertillery where the snow was reported deep.
