Tarana, a new Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant on Chepstow Road in Maindee, has taken over the former Tamarind premises and is quickly cementing its place on Newport’s dining scene.

Diners have praised the reimagined space, calling the interior "ten out ten" and noting how much it has changed from the previous restaurant.
