Parts of Gwent could face a mix of snow and rain later this week, as forecasters warn that temperatures will drop, bringing snow showers to higher ground and heavy rain to lower areas.
Residents in Ebbw Vale, Tredegar, Brynmawr, and Pontypool should prepare for light snow, with temperatures feeling like 2°C.
Snow is expected to start around 6am on Friday in many areas, with strong winds bringing gusts of up to 30mph.

The Met Office says: “Rather cold with some further rain and hill snow on Friday. Drier and brighter on Saturday after a frosty start. Rain and hill snow risk returns on Sunday.”
Drivers are being urged to take extra care on potentially icy and slippery roads and should keep an eye on local forecasts and prepare for possible disruptions to travel and services.
Authorities advise checking for updates as conditions develop across Wales in the coming days.
