An apprenticeship scheme is celebrating national success.
Aspire, the shared apprenticeship programme from Blaenau Gwent and Merthyr Tydfil councils, won the Collaboration and Partnership Award at the iESE Awards.
These awards recognise public sector organisations for their efforts in improving and transforming local public services, celebrating the outstanding work of councils, public bodies, and their partners in improving services and delivering better outcomes for communities.
The award recognises the effective collaboration between the two councils, as well as the involvement of local employers and training providers.
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council called its partnership with Merthyr 'incredible' as well as the partnership with employers and training providers.
