Young people in Blaenau Gwent have created a documentary about their community.
The film Our Blaenau Gwent was produced through the BG Arts: Make It Film project and was shown at a special screening at the Metropole Theatre in Abertillery.
It captures the voices of young people in Blaenau Gwent and explores what the area means to them, focusing on the people and places that shape their lives.
Erin Richards, one of the participants, said: "Being able to work on this project allowed me to grow my confidence and even reconnect with a friend I lost touch with after school.
"It was a really great experience that allowed me to develop transferrable skills that I would love to use in the future with whatever opportunities are presented to me."
Through hands-on training and expert support, the project introduced young people to filmmaking by developing their skills in research, scriptwriting, interviewing, presenting and production management.
The project was delivered in partnership with learning technology company Aspire 2Be and funded by the UK Government through the Trailblazers Programme.
Frankie Baker, another participant, said: "Working with Aspire 2 Be and BG Arts on this youth film project was great fun.

"I learnt a lot about documentary film making, met new people and made new experiences.
"I got to tell my story and had the opportunity to show how culturally rich Blaenau Gwent really is."
Councillor Sue Edmunds, cabinet member for children, young people, and families, praised the project and the film.
Councillor Edmunds said: "I really enjoyed the film, well done to everyone involved.
"This project has empowered young people to tell positive stories about their communities while building vital life and work skills.
"Alongside producing a professional-quality documentary, participants strengthened their communication, oracy, digital competency and leadership abilities.
"Many also reported a boost in confidence and pride in their local area."
The Trailblazers Programme is a UK Government-funded £10 million employment support programme.
It is designed to tackle economic inactivity by providing tailored, locally designed support for people who face barriers to entering work.
