Secondary schools can help change lives around the world by feeding children in need.
Through Mary’s Meals’ Feed A School initiative, schools across Wales can raise funds to provide daily meals to entire schools in Malawi or Zambia, helping ensure children receive both nutrition and education for a brighter future.
Mary’s Meals supplies meals to more than three million children every school day across 16 countries.
Claire Benjamin, director of supporter engagement for Mary’s Meals UK, said: "Schools can sign up to Feed A School in Malawi or Zambia today and turn a year of school meals into a lifetime of impact."
The charity says just 10p a day can provide a child with a nutritious school meal.

St Andrew’s and St Bride’s High School in East Kilbride have raised enough money to feed all 288 pupils at Damu Primary School through their annual five-day ‘porridge pledge’.
Pupils ate only plain foods such as porridge, rice, and toast to raise funds and show solidarity with the children they were supporting.
In 2025, they surpassed their fundraising target of £5,515.20 by raising an impressive total of more than £11,000.
Jacqueline Nelson, a teacher at the school, said: "I can honestly say Feed A School with Mary's Meals is one of the best things that we have ever done in our school.
"Through Feed A School, we live what we teach – we directly help our global brothers and sisters, those who we will never meet yet still love and it allows us to place the needs of some of the most vulnerable people in the world first.
"It's beautiful. It brings true joy."
Participating schools receive updates from the feeding programme and a final report from the supported school, helping build a lasting connection to the children they are helping.
