A vehicle was seized by police for having no insurance during a Saturday night patrol.
Officers from the Blaenau Gwent community action team were on patrol on May 9 when checks carried out on the vehicle revealed it was being driven without valid insurance.
They seized the vehicle under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "Driving without insurance is not only against the law, but it can also have serious financial and legal consequences".
Failing to have valid insurance can result in having your vehicle seized; fixed penalties and fines; points on your licence and potential disqualification from driving.
The spokesperson continued: "Please take a few moments to check your documents and ensure everything is in place before setting off.
"Keeping our roads safe is everyone’s responsibility."
Drivers are also reminded to make sure the specific vehicle they are using is covered under their insurance.
