A singer-songwriter will launch her latest single with a night of live music, guest musicians, and curated treats.
'Lucy That Sings', the stage name of Newport artist Lucy Shore, will host a launch event at Le Pub on Thursday, August 27, in celebration of her forthcoming song Champagne By The Pool.
The exclusive Newport show will feature a full live band and guest musicians, giving fans the chance to hear her new music performed live.
Lucy Shore said: "I’m so excited to be having my launch party at Le Pub – it’s a real homecoming for me to be performing in Newport.
"Spending time in rehearsals and sharing the stage with such talented musicians is just amazing, I’m having the best time getting ready for this."
The line-up includes performances of fan favourites Trade It For Freedom, Against My Own Advice, and summer’s disco-inspired track What Would You Love Me To Say?
Warming up the crowd will be acoustic pop artist Rhys Hone, known online as the ‘Welsh Cowboy’.
Popular covers band We Are The Lost Boys will follow, bringing their high-energy set of rock and pop hits. The event is expected to be upbeat and interactive, as they are known for getting audiences up and dancing.
The final stages of recording Champagne By The Pool were finished in early July at Northhouse Studios, with Newport producer Jon Greening mixing and mastering the single.
The single will be released on Friday, August 28, the day after the launch party.
She also reveals that she has been enjoying collaborating with local businesses Kin & Ilk, New Pastures Home and others, to curate a bespoke selection of treats for those on the guest list.
Tickets cost £8 in advance and £10 on the door.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Tickets can be purchased online at Gigantic.
