Presentation of cheque for £12,000 to help the rugby club to go through its previous problems with flooding and equipment from Blackwood Town Council  - presented by Councillor Kevin Etheridge, Councillor Rhys Mills, Councillor Carol Erasmus and Councillor Andrew Farina Childs on behalf of the Town Council.
Councillor Etheridge, who praised the club, said the club were a pinnacle of the community, and part of the Blackwood family and valued by all in the town.

Beach party

Don't forget to come along to the Blackwood Beach Party on the High Street, which will be closed this Saturday, plenty of stalls, entertainment, shows and sand with bucket and spades for the children.
