A man caught with dozens of indecent images of children and has been committed to the crown court for sentencing.
Louis Piacentini, 37, of Graig Park Parade, Newport pleaded guilty to the offences committed between May 22, 2020 and June 27, 2025 when he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court.
The offences involved a total of 34 indecent images.
These comprised 13 category A images, the most serious kind, 13 category B images and eight category C images.
At the hearing, Piacentini indicated guilty pleas to all three offences.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear for sentence on September 22.
